Questions

Favorite High School Memory I have lots of great memories from high school. Winning two Softball State Championships was pretty sweet and now that I coach softball I realize what an accomplishment that really was.

Favorite High School Class I loved Mr. Krull's Finite Math class. I also enjoyed Mr. Schneider's Geometry class. Sissom's COE class was also memorable and full of hilarious moments.

Favorite High School Activity: My favorite high school activity… hmm… playing softball, going to Florida with choir, and joking around with teachers and friends.

In 2002, I spent my weekends: Hanging out with friends. Trying to find somewhere to go and something to do. Also, working at BRU. Good times.

In 2011, I spend my weekends: Still hanging out with friends (new and old), family, and my husband. We love to BBQ, go out to eat and hang with our 2 dogs. We have 3 nieces and a nephew so we try to get together with them as much as possible too. Also, I love to read…so some weekends are spent with a good book.

Any other thoughts about LHS or the class of 2002?

I was truly lucky to be able to go to LHS and receive such a good education. I didn't realize how easy I had it back then. I was constantly supported by good teachers, friends, and family. High school was a carefree time for me and a time filled with fun, craziness, and great friends.

What I'm up to now

I went to Mizzou and graduated in 2005 with a degree in Middle School Education (Math & Social Studies). In college I started dating my husband Greg and we were married in June 2011. I now teach 8th grade math in the Orchard Farm School District, and coach JV softball and basketball. I love my job. I love being with kids all day and teaching them about math, life, and sarcasm. Greg and I live in Ellisville with our two dogs (who are awesome). Life is pretty good for us. We are lucky.
