See the journey Garrett and Lindsay took from high school friends to husband and wife!

Questions

Favorite High School Memory
Lindsay – I have lots of wonderful memories from High School, but I would have to say that my favorite was our French class trip to France. I think it sparked my love for traveling and I have been wanting to go back ever since.
Garrett – Spring Break Senior Year, South Padre Island.

Favorite High School Class
Lindsay – I'd have to say this is a tie between Mr. Willard's Honors Language Arts class and Ms. Glenn's AP Psychology class. Mr. Willard's classes were always challenging, yet fun at the same time. Ms. Glenn's class inspired me to major in psychology in college which in turn led to my career as an elementary school counselor.
Garrett – Geo Science with Randy Seagrist.

Favorite High School Activity:
Lindsay – Band! I know it's dorky, but I had so much fun :-)
Garrett – Being the Sports Editor of the newspaper.

In 2002, I spent my weekends:
Lindsay – I spent my weekends in high school hanging out with friends, usually at the AMC West Olive movie theater or Chesterfield Mall.
Garrett – Hanging out with friends, seeing movies and going to dinner.

In 2011, I spend my weekends:
Lindsay – I usually spend my weekends now with friends and family. I love working around the house, gardening and trying out new recipes. We also love taking our dog, Sadie, to the park.
Garrett – Hanging out with family and friends, playing with my dog, going out and having people over to our bar in the basement.

What we're up to now

Garrett and I were always good friends and began dating during our last semester at Mizzou. We graduated together in May of 2006 and moved back to St. Louis to start our careers. Garrett works as a Branch Manager for Enterprise Rent-A-Car and I am an Elementary School Counselor for Imagine Schools in St. Louis City. In 2009 we bought our first home in Brentwood and on July 24th, 2010 we were married in front of many of our friends from Lafayette.

Our LHS bridal party included: Lauren Duenow (Class of 2006), Ashley (Kurz) Echterhoff, Tessa (VonBehren) McConkey, Katie Costello, Brett Knowles (Class of 2000), Ryan Knoblauch, Ryan Sullivan, Fletcher Sprague, Derek Robertson, Adam Howard, Brian Barks and Matt Papes. We feel very fortunate to have been able to hold on to many of our friendships from high school. We feel even luckier that several of these people live within our neighborhood. Now that we are married and settled into our house, we enjoy spending time with friends and family, traveling, and playing with Sadie.
