Favorite High School Memory: Winning State for Softball back to back years!!! My other favorite memory is when I asked Steve to turnabout senior year and he said no. Now I'm marrying him. I love telling that story to my students who are heart broken.

Favorite High School Class: Choir... nothing can beat the warm up massages we got daily.

Favorite High School Activity: Variety shows were a lot of fun!

In 2002, I spent my weekends: Going to Christa, Tobin, and Kevin's houses or driving from parking lot to parking lot. Playing lots and lots of softball too.

In 2011, I spend my weekends: With my fiance or with family and friends at our own home.

Any other thoughts to add about LHS or the Class of 2002?

You really don't know how well we had it there. Being a teacher I have been to a ton of different schools, and we may not have appreciated how great it was at the time, but now I know just how great that school really is. Our class is really special in the scholarships we give in memory of our classmates who are no longer with us. Getting to know those students on a personal level really is rewarding to see and they are very, very appreciative of the money.

What She's Up To Now

Steve Modde and I are getting married on June 11 this year!!! We have a house in O'Fallon where Steve works at a culinary school. I am a PE teacher at Lafayette, yes with Coach Ski and everything :) We couldn't be more excited to be starting this part of our lives.
