Kate (Wofford) Miley

Questions

Favorite High School Memory: Playing tennis, Powderpuff football senior year, and graduation...we thought we were so grown up, but little did we know we still had so much to learn!

Favorite High School Class: Mrs. Glenn's psychology class because every lesson was so interesting. I've even used some of the knowledge from that class in my own teaching experience, and all of the art classes I discovered senior year.

Favorite High School Activity: Tennis

In 2002, I spent my weekends: Hanging out with friends and family, and working. Looking back, I had my close friends from LHS, but I spent a lot of time with people from other schools. If only I had known what I was missing out on...Now I wish I had spent more time making memories with our class.

In 2011, I spend my weekends: I couldn't be happier than when I'm hanging out with my little family! Hiking, biking, doing art projects, shopping, going to church, going out with other couples, mini-vacations, and taking care of our newest addition-our sweet baby girl Nieva.

Any other thoughts to add about LHS or the Class of 2002?
I'm so proud of what our class has accomplished. Jill, Rich and Ami have put a lot of time into helping our class do something great with its resources. I love that our class has made a difference for other students who are right behind us.

What She's Up to Now:

I met my husband Nate in college and we were married shortly after graduation. I spent four years teaching art to all grade levels and absolutely loved it. This year, we were thrilled to find out we were pregnant and now I stay at home with our daughter who was born in November.
