Questions

Favorite High School Class Mr. Willard's language arts class! Or Ms. Doster's human anatomy class- that woman was crazy!

Favorite High School Activity: Any of the activities during homecoming week!

Favorite High School Memory: Probably playing rec softball- we seriously had so much fun :)

In 2002, I spent my weekends: Probably trying to convince my parents to extend my 10:30 p.m. curfew :). Working at Applebees, playing softball, going to LHS football and hockey games, just hanging out with friends- and doing a lot of driving around trying to find something to do. We had such a great group of friends and I just remember laughing nonstop.

In 2012, I spend my weekends: Checking out new restaurants with Ben, traveling, going to concerts, hanging out with friends and family, running around the city with Jill McDonnell, and nowadays studying a little bit.

Anything you'd like to add about the Class of 2002?

I wish I would have appreciated it more back then, but looking back, LHS is an incredible school and we were given so many great opportunities. I have so many wonderful memories from those 4 years! While I definitely wish I would have stayed closer to people, its nice to have this blog and Facebook to keep in touch- seems like everyone is doing great!

What I'm up to now

I graduated from the University of Dayton in 2006 with a degree in biology, and moved to Chicago to get my masters degree in nursing at DePaul. I was a nurse for 4 years in a surgical ICU, and in 2011 I went back to school to become a nurse anesthetist. In 2014 I will finally be done with school forever! I met my husband Ben at a dive bar in Chicago, and we got married in September 2010. Ben is from Chicago and we love the city, but I would be very to happy to end up back in St. Louis one day!
