Questions

Favorite High School Memory: Orientation Day! I loved seeing each other after summer break and comparing schedules.

Favorite High School Class: That is a tie between Ms. Mund's language arts class and Ms. Peters' humanities class. Ms. Peters was the first person to teach me about Bob Dylan. I still remember the Dylan t-shirt she would wear. Both were amazing teachers who left an everlasting impression on me.

Favorite High School Activity: Cheerleading. The friendships formed and the laughs we shared were invaluable.

In high school, I'd spend my weekends: Spending time with family or driving around trying to find somewhere to hang out. It's sad to say but many times that meant hanging out in the Jack in the Box parking lot. Good times.

In 2010, I spend my weekends: Doing anything! I love going to concerts, reading, doing yoga, running and hanging out with friends and family.

Anything else to add about Lafayette or the Class of 2002?
I want to say thanks to everyone in our class. Our class was such a diverse group and I loved it. I have only fond memories of my time at Lafayette and it's the people that made it special. We were so blessed to have such wonderful teachers that really cared about our education. Especially today with schools cutting funds and teachers because of the economy, we should all feel very fortunate that we grew up in such a rich learning environment. It was a very special time in all of our lives. I am so proud to be apart of the Class of 2002.

What She's Up to Now:
Megan graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in communications and an emphasis in visual media. After working at the NBC affiliate in Columbia, MO, she moved to Washington, DC, to work at a production company called Double R Productions. Megan started as a production assistant but quickly moved up to associate producer.

While she loved DC and her job after three years there she decided to pursue other passions and explore new interests. Megan recently moved to Jackson Hole, WY, to work at a Guest Horse Ranch. She said the experience is very different but she is loving it. "New experiences and living in the moment are what this time of my life is all about," she said. Megan hopes to travel abroad for a couple of months after she leaves Wyoming in November. Keep up with her adventures here: http://www.themakexperiment.com/MAK_Experiment/Home.html
