From Noises Off and AP Art Studio to his Netflix queue and making furniture, catch up with the adventures of funny guy Pete Cuba.

Questions

Favorite High School Memory: This has to be a tie between helping Huck with his almost successful run for whatever he was running for in student council, rehearsing and performing Noises Off, and spending time with Wolly in the back of whatever large group flex science class we had. I think it was anatomy.

Favorite High School Class: AP Art Studio with Ms. Senti. It usually bled from fourth period into lunch and into whatever flex class I had during fifth period. At the time it seemed like a lot of fun and games (it was) but she was tricking me into preparing for college and my career.

Favorite High School Activity: Anything to do with Theatre. I made amazing friends and had great times. My only regret is that I waited until sophomore year to get involved.

In 2002, I spent my weekends: In Buzzy's basement, in Rich's basement, dating private school girls or taking road trips around Missouri seeing what kind of trouble we could get into.

In 2011, I spend my weekends: In the winter usually painting or making furniture while watching a movie and spending time with my girlfriend. In the summer I do the same, but it is a lot easier to get me out of my apartment when it isn't as cold out.

Any other thoughts to add about LHS or the Class of 2002?

Having friends who are teachers all around the country now I really appreciate how great we had it at Lafayette. I think we all grew up knowing we were in a great (but protective) bubble, but it is a lot easier to appreciate now. In addition, I took for granted all of the typical "high school" moments we all shared and how close our class ended up by the end of senior year. I wouldn't go back, but I wouldn't trade it for any less than $125,000.

What He's Up To Now

By day I am a Senior Designer at VSA Partners in Chicago working on a bunch of different clients but mainly Converse. I spend most of my spare time painting (twohorsetown.com), designing (petecuba.com) and making furniture. I like to watch whatever is on Netflix while I am doing that and recently have seen G.I. Joe, Confessions of a Shopaholic, and Prince of Persia and I would rank them in that order. A few weekends ago I was sick at home and made an entertainment stand for my new apartment while watching a season and a half of The Larry Sanders Show.
